Centrevents was formed in 1997 as a not for profit events unit within the Institute for Applied Health and Social Policy, IAHSP, attached to Kings College, London
Within this structure, Centrevents produced conferences, networks, seminars and events for programmes within IAHSP and increasingly for a range of other organisations such as the Department of Health, relating to mental health, learning disabilities, older people, employment and organisational development, with participants coming from a range of backgrounds in health and social care services. br> On August 1st 2003 Centrevents Ltd was launched as an independent company, continuing to provide the quality events service that its clients have enjoyed for the past seven years.
Centrevents organises and manages a range of national and local conferences, networks, working groups, seminars, educational events and development programmes, principally for health and social care services throughout the UK. The events organised have ranged from small bespoke seminars and network training sessions, to one day conferences and two day annual congresses.
The members of the company are experienced conference and events organisers and have built up a wealth of knowledge of conference organising in the Health and Social Care field: particularly with regard to the requirements of an event venue, the programming and marketing of an event, design and production of delegate information and transferable skills easily applied to other fields.
